Physics O'level Practice Papers (online mock exam)

It is now less than a month to the first Physics O'level Paper and I am sure you have been revising hard at this point in time. This is a critical moment to try to revise, practice and refine your Physics knowledge before the big exam.

Syllabus 5059 Pure Physics (SPA)
3 Nov 2017: Physics Paper 2
13 Nov 2017: Physics Paper 1

As you can see from the schedule above, there really isn't much time left.

I will be releasing several mock O'level Papers for you to try out for free. Yes, you will also get your scores within 24 hours at the same charge as a neutron (no charge!)

Check out my online Paper 1 adapted from a Secondary School. I am still figuring out how best to put an open ended Paper 2 online and how to mark them. Meanwhile, try my first online Paper 1 out!

When you are done, you will get your results sent to you via email within the day. You will also be able to see which questions you got correct/wrong and what are the correct answers.

Happy revising!

Inaugural small group tuition class for Sec 3 Physics!

Hi everyone! I am starting my inaugural small group tuition class!

I have been teaching one-to-one home tuition for almost 5 years now and had tried several different methods to teach my students. I did not just aimed to help them to do well in exams, but also guided them in their learning journey and hopefully piqued their interest for the subject.

These small group tuition classes I'm conducting will focus on one topic per session to clarify as many doubts as possible and reinforce the student's understanding on the topic. Below, you will see 2 advertisments - yes, I'm starting 2 classes for Term 2 because this is the time Secondary schools tend to ramp up their speed. However, students need not attend both. They can choose to join in for only the topics they are weak in.

This not only saves cost but also saves time by not forcing the student to sit through a tuition session that taught something that he/she is already good at.

Without further ado, here are the two classes! Click on the images below to register.

This course focusing on Term 2 Newtonian Physics topics. These are topics that require the student to have a deep understanding of the simple concepts presented because the questions that can arise from these set of topics tend to combine different topics together and require higher order thinking skills to creatively solve them.

This course focuses on Thermal Physics and introduces students to theories involving materials at the micro level. It is important that students get a clear picture of the theories surrouding these topics in order to explain clearly the effects arising in the macro level.

Welcome to my blog!

What is this blog about?

Welcome to my humble blog where I will share with you Physics topics, tips and tricks, news and any other random articles that might be Physics related.

Who is this blog for?

If you are a student of Physics, I would like to congratulate you for making the decision to understand the fundamentals and underlying principles of how our world works. There will be times you will find it frustrating, but hang in there. There is much joy in figuring out how things work, in calculating and predicting how things would turn out and how to shape things to the way you want.

As I am based in Singapore. This blog is dedicated to Singapore students studying Physics GCE O'level and A'level syllabuses.

I will not be writing full long-winded topic guides in this blog, but instead I hope to pique your interest in Physics by bringing in real life examples to talk about each and every Physics topic covered in O and A level syllabuses.
